LAS VEGAS — A firefighter’s personal truck was set on fire in front of the station, according to officials.
NBC 3 News reported that a woman lit the firefighter’s classic 1972 Bronco truck ablaze in the parking lot of the Las Vegas Fire and Rescue station.
Resident Terry Whalen, who lives by the station, said he saw the smoke outside of his window.
“I live right around the corner. I see the gas can on the curb. Then I walk this way and see that,” Whalen said.
A woman was arrested for the incident, and firefighters said they are unsure of what caused her to allegedly start the fire. She has no connection to the firefighter who owns the truck.
The incident is currently under investigation.
