ST. LOUIS — A firefighter sustained second-degree burns Monday while attempting to rescue victims trapped in a burning building.
After searching the building, it was determined there was no one inside, reported CBS.
The firefighter was treated for burns on his neck and is expected to fully recover.
After the fire, the St. Louis Fire Department tweeted, “Sleep comfortably knowing the [St. Louis Fire Department] will always do whatever is necessary to keep you and your family safe!”
