PHILADELPHIA — Firefighters say a man has been rushed to Temple University Hospital after his car was firebombed near the campus in north Philadelphia.
Authorities say the incident occurred about 5:30 a.m. Thursday and left the man with burns over much of his body.
Police joined the investigation after firefighters put out the blaze.
It’s not immediately clear what prompted the incident.
The victim’s name hasn’t been released.
