COLUMBUS, Ohio — A firefighter was injured after a deck he was standing on collapsed.
10TV reported that a crew responded to a blaze that was coming out of an apartment building’s top floor when they arrived.
An unidentified firefighter was battling the blaze while standing on a deck when it collapsed. He was transported to the hospital in stable condition, according to officials.
The fire chief on scene said a couple of other people were treated for smoke inhalation.
Firefighters contained the apartment blaze to four units, but officials are unsure how many people were displaced.
The fire is currently under investigation.
