STILLWATER, Okla. — A Stillwater Fire Department firefighter has been hospitalized during his battle with COVID-19.
Captain Randy Blake, a 22-year fire department veteran who is in his early-40s, is now fighting for a life at a Tulsa hospital, according to News on 6.
The Stillwater News Press reported on Wednesday that three firefighters had tested positive for COVID-19, and nine others were quarantining.
Kristy Kitsman, the executive director of CASA for Kids, a nonprofit where Blake volunteers, released a statement: “Randy is the epitome of a true servant. His care for others is evident in the way he lives his life. He has been involved with CASA since 2017 and has been a fierce advocate for abused and neglected children in Payne County. Our prayers are with Randy, his wife and children and his medical team.”
