CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — While weight lifting may be an Olympic sport, pulling a 55,000-pound fire truck may be another story.
Several Texas fire departments will participate in a fire truck pull Saturday to raise funds for the Texas Special Olympics.
Each team will attempt to pull a rig 75 feet as fast as they can; the top three teams will take the winning slots, reported KIIITV.
The teams must consist of 10 people, although “fill-ins” are permitted. The first pull will begin at 10:15 a.m
