NAPA, Calif. — A powerful 6.0 earthquake struck the city of Napa, Calif. and caught many people off-guard Sunday at 3:20 a.m. People that were sound asleep were woken by dressers, mirrors and pictures crashing down on them.

In the video below, multiple security cameras show falling debris and shaking cars as the quake began.

In another video, a 1-year-old baby is seen sleeping through the earthquake – only tossing and turning when the quake hits.

The temblor lasted 10 to 20 seconds and was the largest to shake the Bay Area since the 6.9 Loma Prieta earthquake that struck in 1989. A total of 172 people were injured, and there have been no reported deaths.
