“Backdraft,” a 1991 film directed by Ron Howard, follows Chicago firefighters who are on the trail of a serial arsonist.
The firefighting film was so popular that information was recently leaked about a “Backdraft” sequel, which is said to be centered on Stephen “Bull” McCaffrey’s grown son, Sean, who is a Chicago Fire Department investigator with a grudge against Brian McCaffrey.
