ALBANY, Ga. — An Albany woman is recovering at Phoebe Putney Hospital, after a single car accident.
It happened at 107 Merritt Drive around 5:30 this morning. Battalion Chief James Ambrose, says the woman lost control of her car and slammed into a tree.
Firefighters tried to open the passenger door. But when that didn’t work, they used the jaws of life to cut off her driver’s side door.
