CASH, Ark. — Authorities say three young children were killed in an Arkansas house fire.

One adult was also seriously injured in the fire early Wednesday at a home in Cash, about 100 miles northeast of Little Rock.

The Craighead County Sheriff’s Office says emergency responders found the bodies of two dead toddlers in the home and later found a dead infant.

Investigator Justin Rolland told Jonesboro television station KAIT that the severely injured woman was airlifted to a hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Authorities initially said nine people were in the home when the fire broke out, but they later raised that number to 11.

The cause of the blaze is unknown.
