HUNT COUNTY, Texas — Two firefighters were injured and another person is dead after a fiery crash involving a fire truck.
NBC DFW reported that the Cash Volunteer Fire Department truck was on the road when it swerved to avoid a vehicle that pulled out in front of it, resulting in the truck flipping over on its side and the other vehicle catching fire after crashing, according to Texas Department of Safety spokesman Lonny Haschel.
Two firefighters were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and the other driver was pronounced dead on the scene.
