ATLANTA — What do you do when life has stripped you bare … when you’ve been pushed to the edge to a place we all fear?
You jump in. You keep moving, trying to put distance between yourself and the pain. Kimberly Guinn is not the competitive type. But her Frank was. “I felt the need to move because I quickly realized that when I get still, I don’t do anything,” Guinn said. “I will wallow in that grief and that sadness to the point I can’t keep going.”
An Atlanta firefighter who doted on their triplet daughters, Frank’s best friend and training partner was family. Andrew Powell was married to Kimberly’s sister, Sandra.
