NEW YORK — Five FDNY firefighters and one civilian were injured after a blaze ripped through six buildings Wednesday.
NBC New York reported that 39 units and 168 firefighters responded to the fire that eventually spread out of control to neighboring buildings. Crews got the fire under control in about two hours.
The firefighters and civilian injured in the fire suffered non-life threatening injuries.
It’s unclear what caused the fire; an investigation is underway.
