TOLEDO, Ohio — An 18-year-old South Toledo man was charged Monday with setting fire to nine vacant houses, including one where a firefighter was injured and another that spread to two neighboring houses, authorities said.
Allen Quintanilla, of 219 Eastern Ave., was charged with nine counts of breaking and entering and one count of criminal trespassing. Arson charges are pending.
Mr. Quintanilla is being held without bond in the Lucas County jail pending his arraignment Tuesday in Toledo Municipal Court.
