ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. — Two firefighters were injured after they were electrocuted while fighting a sailboat fire.
According to C&GNews.com, witnesses reported heavy black smoke in the area; no one was inside the boat when the fire broke out.
More than a dozen St. Clair Shores firefighters on scene battled high winds and rain. Heavy winds knocked power lines into the sailboat mast, injuring the firefighters.
Officials said the firefighters suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The fire is under investigation.
