3 firefighters hurt in Baltimore house fire

They were taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries

BALTIMORE — Three firefighters were injured while battling a blaze at a vacant row home in Baltimore on Wednesday.

WBALtv.com reported that crews were called to the home around 10:30 a.m. and were met by heavy smoke and flames coming from the three-story home.

Firefighters entered the home and began extinguishing the fire and three firefighters were injured in the process. The nature of their injuries is not yet known.

The firefighters were taken to hospitals for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, according to the report.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
