OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — Firefighters rushed to help one of their own after a fellow firefighter’s house went up in flames Monday morning.
Officials said the fire started in the bathroom and later spread to the attic, KOCO.com reported.
Firefighters quickly knocked out the fire. No one was inside, and no one was injured.
Firefighters say the home was being remodeled, and believe faulty electrical wiring was the cause, according to the report. Arson investigators were called out as a precaution.
There was major damage to the rear of the home. It’s unclear if the home is a total loss.
