HALE, Mich. – Firefighters responded to a call early Thursday morning that their own fire station was engulfed in flames, WNEM.com reports.
Eight departments were called to help battle the blaze, which started around 2 a.m. It took about an hour and a half to put it out.
No equipment was destroyed, and the township is meeting with an insurance adjuster to go over the losses. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
