CHESTER, Pa. — A firefighter was injured Sunday after being trapped in a burning building.
Officials said the firefighter’s foot became caught while battling a fire, and was stuck inside the basement of the building.
The firefighter was rescued and transported to a medical center, reported the Delaware County Times. His condition has not been released; how the firefighter became trapped is not known.
Officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
