SEGUIN, Texas — It took 22 fire departments from five counties and most of Wednesday to contain a large fire in Guadalupe County near Seguin.
The fire was at the CMC Steel plant in Seguin. For most of the day, a parade of fire trucks could be seen driving in and out of the plant.
The fire started before dawn, right around 5:30 a.m. Two firefighters were treated for heat-related issues, but are OK. Otherwise, the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office said there were no injuries.
