NEW YORK — Video footage shows a 3-alarm fire that roared across the roof and top floor of an upscale condominium in New York, injuring several firefighters.
The from-the-scene footage shows the response from the FDNY Thursday to the upscale condominium building on Thursday.
Eight firefighters suffered minor injuries including burns and smoke inhalation while attacking the fire, according to the New York Times.
Nearby spectators filmed footage of the fire, including some of the nearly 140 firefighters responding.
No deaths or major injuries were reported.
