MARLBOROUGH, Mass. — An 8-alarm fire in Massachusetts destroyed two businesses and the apartments above them on Saturday.
The fire spread quickly through the 4-story wooden structure that included a restaurant and salon on the bottom floor and nine apartments on the upper floors, according to The Boston Globe.
A quick response from 15 area fire departments prevented the fire from damaging adjacent buildings.
Video footage from the fireground shows several fire trucks and aerial apparatus positioned at the structure, along with firefighters attacking the flames from different sides and angles.
