PERRYSVILLE, Pa. — Firefighters in Perrysville told Channel 11 Friday that they’re being put in danger while on the roads.
Perrysville Volunteer Fire Department Fire Chief Eric Wissner said twice in the last 48 hours their lives have been at risk by fast drivers and has video to prove it.
Surveillance video shows a driver ignoring emergency lights and hand signals and speeding by a parking fire engine, almost hitting a Perrysville volunteer firefighter. “The firefighter that was in front of the engine was about to step over in that lane of traffic when he heard the air horn that grabbed his attention,” said Wissner.
