NEWARK, Ohio — Newark Fire Chief Patrick Connor and his wife were injured when their motorcycle struck a deer outside of Newark Sunday night.
The State Highway Patrol was called at 7:30 p.m. to the 10000 block of Eden Church Road NE on the crash.
Connor was taken by medical helicopter to the Wexner Medical Center at the Ohio State University. His wife was taken to Licking Memorial Hospital.
