Former Tenn. firefighter breaks into fire station

Randall Soulliere, 43, allegedly walked through an unlocked back door at a fire station and tried to steal a flat-screen TV while crews were out on a call

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A former firefighter was arrested Monday morning after breaking into a fire station.

WSMV reported that a warrant was issued for Randall Soulliere, 43, after he allegedly walked through an unlocked back door at a fire station and tried to steal a flat-screen TV while crews were out on a call.

When crews returned, they saw the man trying to get away with the TV and called 911, according to the report.

Police say the man then dropped the TV and jumped into a car to get away.

Former firefighter Soulliere resigned from the fire department last week after a disciplinary hearing that resulted from an arrest on possession of cocaine in a drug-free zone during a prostitution sting, according to the report.
