LAWRENCE, N.J. — A volunteer Lawrence firefighter has been indicted on charges he displayed obscene material to a female teenager and asked her to remove her clothing inside the firehouse, officials said Tuesday.

Joseph Dlabik, 38, faces charges of official misconduct, luring, endangering the welfare of a child and obscenity for persons under 18, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office announced. Dlabik is free on $50,000 bail.

Dlabik allegedly lured the victim to a secluded area of the Lawrence Road Fire Co. firehouse on Lawrence Road in early 2014 and asked her to remove a piece of her clothing every time she answered a training question incorrectly. The teenager did not actually remove her clothing.
