SHREVEPORT, La. — Another Shreveport firefighter has been arrested, accused of assaulting a woman and choking her during a domestic dispute.
Shreveport police say they were called to a home in the 2000 block of Grimmett Dr. just before 4 a.m. on Saturday, where they were told by the victim that her boyfriend had shown up and that they began to argue.
Police say the man, identified as 34-year-old Devin Kennedy of the 7000 block of Fern Avenue in Shreveport, allegedly grabbed the woman around the neck and began to choke her repeatedly. Kennedy reportedly left the home following the incident and was not there when police arrived.
