MILWAUKEE — A fire station was burglarized as firefighters were out answering a call Thursday.
FOX6Now.com reported that laptops, tables and cellphones were stolen at Station 34 around 3:30 a.m. The call turned out to be a false alarm. When firefighters returned to the station, they discovered the station had been burglarized.
According to police, the burglars entered through an open window. Fire officials are now taking precaution to make sure another incident does not happen.
The investigation is ongoing.
