INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — IMPD officers are looking for thieves who stole equipment from firefighters.
24-Hour News 8 learned the items are so critical for emergency responders to do their jobs, the victim engine is out of service until they are able to get the equipment back.
“They get off; they’ll raise this up and depending on what the call is, they pick what equipment they need to take in,” said Capt. Deb Estes. Capt. Estes showed 24-Hour News 8 Anchor Daniel Miller some of the life-saving equipment stored on every fire engine in their fleet.
