MONTEREY, Calif. — Two people were hurt this morning when a 250-gallon propane tank exploded at a North County home.
Firefighters from the North Monterey County Fire District responded to the explosion about 10:40 a.m. in the 500 block of Strawberry Road.
The injured were taken by ambulance to a local hospital, a fire district spokeswoman said.
County building officials also went to the scene.
