D.C. firefighters help injured man, finish yard work

The crew not only repaired the man’s broken walker, but they finished trimming his hedges

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A crew of D.C. firefighters were caught in the midst of a random act of kindness recently.

Firefighters and medics responded to a call for a man who had collapsed and fallen to the ground while attempting to trim his hedges, reports WUSA9.

The crew helped the injured man back into his house, but then went further.

Members of Truck Company 16 repaired the man’s broken walker and while he rested inside, the crew proceeded to finish trimming his hedges.

The crew was caught on camera by a neighbor.
