JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. — Firefighters who responded to a medical call about a man who broke his leg while hanging Christmas lights finished the job for him.
KHOU reported that firefighters from West Metro Fire Rescue accompanied EMS providers to the home of Glenn Elvenholl, who had fallen from a ladder while hanging Christmas lights.
While the EMS crew transported Elvenholl, who had broken his leg and dislocated his ankle, to the hospital, the firefighters stayed at his house and finished hanging his lights.
