FOREST GROVE, Ore. — The car that hit two sisters playing in the leaves in front of their Forest Grove home, killing one and critically injuring the other, has been found, according to Forest Grove Police.
Forest Grove Police reported at 5:45 p.m. Monday they’ve located the involved vehicle in this fatal crash. The vehicle will be forensically searched and processed. There have been no arrests.
“This is still a very active and dynamic investigation,” Forest Grove Police reported Monday in its release. Anna Dieter-Eckerdt died at the scene. She was 6. Her 11-year-old sister, Abigail Robinson, was critically injured and remains at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center.
