HOUSTON — The estranged wife of a Houston firefighter admitted to a judge Thursday that she did try to hire someone to kill her husband.
Brittany Martinez pleaded guilty to solicitation of capital murder.
“Why did she try to have her husband killed? Well, I really don’t want to go into the fact situation, that’ll come out in the punishment phase,” George Parnham, her defense attorney, said. “There are two sides to every story. You heard a portion of one side today.”
