(Seattle, WA July, 2014) – True North Gear has collaborated with Polartec to produce and sell 2,000 limited edition, flame resistant t-shirts to raise money for the Wildland Firefighter Foundation as the U.S. braces for its worst wildland fire season.
The Wildland Fire Memorial Edition Tees, made of Polartec Power Dry FR (flame resistant) fabric and designed by True North with a Wildland Firefighter Foundation logo treatment on the right arm, are available for a minimum $35 suggested donation at http://true-north-gear.myshopify.com/ All gross proceeds will be donated directly to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation.
“As a flame resistant materials provider we wanted to do something more,” says Polartec global director of marketing, Allon Cohne. “So we’re raising money to support an organization that provides emergency support services to the families of firefighters seriously injured or killed in the line of duty. We encourage people to donate more than $35 per shirt to reach our goal of raising $100,000.”
