Fire-Dex Announces Formal Consulting Agreement with Bob Keys

Medina, Ohio -  Fire-Dex, a leading manufacturer of firefighter protective apparel announces its formal consulting partnership agreement with Bob Keys, FDNY Batallion Chief (ret.) and Principal at Fire-research and Development of New York Consulting, LLC. Bob will be assisting METRO Department Sales Manager, Allen Rom and Fire-Dex with sales efforts at large departments in the US and Canada.

Bob Keys recently completed a 31 year career within the Fire Department - City of New York (FDNY) as a decorated Battalion Chief.  During his tenure with the FDNY he held a number of fire fighting and leadership positions including Chief in Charge for the Research and Development Unit. While leading the Research and Development Unit he was responsible for the testing, development, and certification for all new and existing equipment utilized by over 11,000 Firefighters in the FDNY.

Chief Keys is considered an industry expert on the incorporation of new technology into the fire service to improve communication and personnel safety.
