About The California Fire Exploring Scholarship
The California Fire Exploring Scholarship was established in 2009 to assist the state’s young adults currently active with the Fire Explorer and Cadet programs. Our goal is to offer these future Firefighters financial support to further their education and training. This program is open to ALL current Fire Explorers and Cadets in the State of California with at least six months of service in their respective posts. This includes LAFD’s Cadet and Huntington Beach and Long Beach Search & Rescue programs.
