Strike First fire extinguishers recalled for repair

About 50,900 dry chemical fire extinguishers, manufactured by Strike First Corp., are being recalled, the Consumer Product Safety Commission reported on Tuesday.

The CPSC said the fire extinguishers can fail to discharge properly when the trigger is activated, which puts consumers at risk of fire-related injuries.

The manufacturer has received three reports of the fire extinguishers failing to discharge properly when activated. No injuries have been reported.
