SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — Two men were taken to the hospital after the vehicle they were traveling in lost control, struck four signs along the road and careened into a ditch off Mariposa Road near Kingswood Road in Victorville, officials said Wednesday.
San Bernardino County Fire personnel had to extricate both the driver and the passenger, then airlifted both to hospitals with critical head injuries late Tuesday night, officials said.
The two men were traveling north on Mariposa Road when the crash took place.
San Bernardino County Sheriff ‘s investigators are trying to determine what caused the crash, but alcohol had not been ruled out as a factor.
