KME will showcase a new pumper with a stainless steel split-tilt cab designed for severe duty use at FDIC 2014. The pumper will be delivered to the FDNY and includes a 2000gpm, two-stage pump, stainless steel pump hose and body and 500-gallon water tank.
Other pumpers on display include a KME Challenger WB with a 1500gmp pump, Class A foam system, lowered hosebed and 29-inch deep compartments.
KME’s RidgeRunner also will also be on display. The RidgeRunner meets NFPA 1901 and 1906. It offers 1500gpm and pump and roll.
KME also will display an AerialCat ladder from Exeter, N.H. The truck includes a steel ladder with 2.5:1 safety factor, 1500gpm aerial water flow, 165 degree vertical monitor range and a wide and deep fly section for easy travel up and down the ladder.
