The Archer Lodge (N.C.) Fire Department: Ferrara

The Archer Lodge (N.C.) Fire Department has taken delivery of an extruded top-mount pumper from Ferrara Fire Apparatus. The apparatus, built on a Ferrara Inferno chassis that seats eight, features a Cummins ISL 400-hp engine, an Allison 3000 EVS transmission, a Hale Qmax 1,500-gpm, single-stage pump; a 1,000-gallon polypropylene water tank; a FoamPro Hypro 1600 foam system; a 30-gallon foam tank; a 10-kW generator; and a Will-Burt Night Scan light tower.
