The Medford (Wis.) Fire Department: CustomFIRE

The Medford (Wis.) Fire Department has taken delivery of a pumper/tanker from CustomFIRE Apparatus. The apparatus, built on an International chassis, features a Cummins ISM 350-hp engine, an Allison 4000 EVS automatic transmission and anti-lock brakes. Other equipment includes a Hale 460-gpm, single-stage pump; a 3,000-gallon fiberglass water tank; Code 3 lights and siren; two driver-side compartments; two passenger-side compartments; and one transverse compartment in the rear.
