HeatSeeker rehab units are a low cost and very effective alternative to misting or cooling fans for on-scene firefighter rehab in hot weather. The HeatSeeker is a special hose cap with misting holes drilled into it that can connect to any pumping apparatus discharge or remotely on hose or appliance. It uses just 3 to 6 gallons of water per hour depending on pressures producing a fine mist, it lowers the ambient air temperature up to 30 degrees, creating an immediate option for cooling firefighters at structure fires, motor vehicle accidents or training. The HeatSeeker may be used as normal operating cap on any pump discharge or stored in compartment until use. Units are available in 1.5 inches or 2.5 inches and can be custom powder coated and engraved with your department color and logos.
