EL PASO, Texas — Thanks to electronic security systems, several suspects who sprayed graffiti on fire stations, a church and several houses in Fabens were caught on camera.
Acting on that tip, El Paso County Sheriff officials detained a 14-year-old juvenile on Sunday in connection with the vandalism. Sheriff deputies continue to investigate.
“We woke up (Sunday) morning to this,” said Fernando Martinez, deputy chief for the Fabens Fire and Rescue Station. “The graffiti was done with large markings and was very obvious.”
