Norix launched their Hondo Nuevo Series for use in healthcare, fire and police stations, hospitality and other commercial interiors.
The Hondo Nuevo Series is designed to endure 24/7 use and offers a wide array of furniture that can be used in fire stations. The Hondo Nuevo line of lounge furniture was put through a durability test and proved to withstand and recover after being crushed by more than 5,000 pounds of force. All products in the Hondo Nuevo line can withstand a static load of 750 pounds and also can withstand 500 pounds dropped from 18 inches — triple the height of the Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association (BIFMA) standard.
Hondo Nuevo products showed no signs of wear after being cycle tested with one million repetitions using 100 pounds of weight, the company said
