BOSTON — Blauer rolled out a pathogen resistant B.DRY Response Parka at IAFC’s Fire-Rescue International Conference and Expo.

The parka meets ASTM F 1671 against bodily fluids, and is available in both Hi-Vis and Dark Navy color schemes. The Hi-Vis is certified to ANSI 107-2010 Class 2, while the Dark Navy has a band of 3M ScotchLite material in a crosswalk pattern around the waist and lower sleeves for enhanced visibility.

Both Blauer jackets have responder pockets, including outer and inner jacket pockets with external storage slots and bilateral sleeve pockets for gloves or other gear.

The two parkas compatible with all Blauer System Outerwear liners, and provide first responders with a secondary stand-alone jacket for other needs.

Both variants of the B.DRY Response Parka help shield responders from both the elements and some of the hazards and are made with a lightweight, flexible shell design.

They can be seen at booth 33105.
