Benzol Group to Donate to National Fallen Firefighters Foundation on Every
TIER II Chemical Inventory Report Sold Now Through February 15th, 2015
The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) announced that Benzol Group, a division of The Environmental Compliance Group, LLC is offering Tier II Chemical Inventory Report Preparation in recognition and support of the Foundation. For every report sold, 10% of the filing cost will be donated to the NFFF.
“We appreciate Benzol Group’s generous support of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation’s mission to honor the fallen, offer support to their families and help reduce firefighter line-of-duty injuries and deaths each year. Providing firefighters with the information contained in these Tier II reports has the potential to save lives.” said Ronald J. Siarnicki, executive director of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
Emergency Planning and Community Right-To-Know Act (EPCRA) Tier II forms capture information about the types, quantities and locations of hazardous chemicals at a given facility. The form also lists contact information for the facility’s designated emergency point-of-contact. They are reported on an annual basis to the state as well as local agencies tasked with emergency planning and response.
“We are proud to have joined with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation to help spread the word about the importance of filing up-to-date Tier II Chemical Inventory Reports. Together our organizations can educate a larger audience about this important information and contribute to saving firefighters and other first responders,” said Dr. Sabih Kalidy, President of Benzol Group.
