SEATTLE — Several users of a new Android phone have reported a glitch that occurs when they try to call 911.

The Verge reported that when some users try to dial 911 on the OnePlus5 phone, it malfunctions and restarts.

Reddit user Nick Morelli said he was trying to report a building fire when he noticed the glitch. Other users said they have seen the same thing occur on their phones.

“We have contacted the customer and are currently looking into the issue,” OnePlus said. “We ask anyone experiencing a similar situation to contact us at support@oneplus.net.”
