PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — A Palm Beach County firefighter required hospital care after being freed from a fire truck that rolled over, officials said.

It happened before 9 a.m. Thursday when rescue crews received reports that a fire truck used for fighting brush fires had overturned and was resting on its roof near Lyons and Lantana roads, said Fire Rescue Capt. Albert Borroto.

The firefighter was taken to a local area hospital for treatment. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause of this crash, Borroto said.
