LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles County Fire Department announced the active-duty death of Firefighter/Paramedic Jerry Guzman.

In a social media post, the department said Guzman’s last alarm was Aug. 15, and that he was most recently assigned to Fire Station 32 in Azusa.

Guzman served the L.A. County community for 23 years.
